"What is dichroic glass?"
An artist takes layers of glass--textured, multicolored, different shapes and depths--and stacks them on top of one another, paying particular attention to the order to achieve different looks and effects. After they have the vague idea of they piece, that put clear glass tiles on top. Into the kiln the glass goes and they bubble over to form pendants, beads, and whatever else you can imagine glass to be. These beads are dichroic, made by a local artisan crafter in her kiln. I've paired them with hammered silver disks for a rustic, artsy, boho look.
Lead/nickel free. SUPER pretty.
