Oh, Meg. You and your divine pearl pieces.
 
Meg returns with a new batch of beauties, this one a 23", hand-knotted on silk strand of loveliness.  Featured here are plum pearl rectangles (freshwater) paired with garnet rounds and gold chips for a bit of sparkle.  The color on the pearls is mulled wine--it's a rich burgundy with a play of spaices in the form of blues, purples, and even touches of gold.
 
As a friend of mine would say, she's a betty.
