I feel like if I put this brooch down in front of people and said "tell us how this makes you feel" you'd get a different answer from different people.
 
Is it the same person in three stages of life?  Is it a family?  Are they resting?  Are they deceased?
 
It's one of those pieces that gets me thinking, and as such, I love it.  Made of ceramic, Sara Eileen detailed it to look like a broken off piece of an old statue.  And that's cool.
