I did not make this one, I sourced it. The cost on it was a good deal given that sterling is going around $80 an ounce and I knew I could find it a home at a fair price to our audience.
 
I have a special place in the dark parts of my heart for the antique and restoration pieces and this is why. I won't see something like this in an auction again for a long time. I don't know that I'll see it at this quality in sterling; a lot of things like this tend to go in gold which puts it out of my price range. This is a mother of pearl cameo on black onyx and surrounded by mother pearl with a ton of sterling. It is beautifully made. It is unusual. It is classic.
