Ancient Egypt, but make it kinda queer.
 
These Czech glass cartouche beads have a gorgeous teal shade and rainbow style heiroglyphics on them. I paired them with purple glass and gold scarab beads, which are actually dipped in real gold! FANCY.
 
Worth noting is that these are a mid-weight earring. I'm comfortable in them and I'm sensitive to weight, but if you have a strong response to "feeling" your earrings you may not enjoy these.  Please see the second picture for length.
